Managing Partner Bob Gilbert has delivered impressive results for several Fortune 100 and multinational clients, including market leaders Samsung, General Electric and Hyundai Heavy Industries. Partner PD Villarreal has a distinguished career that includes a decade as global head of litigation for GlaxoSmithKline, during which time The Financial Times awarded global recognition to GlaxoSmithKline as “Litigation Team of the Year.” PD is also widely recognized as among the foremost lawyers in the world in the field of alternative dispute resolution.

Command and Mastery

Our clients know that when we walk into court, we have complete command of the facts and total mastery of the law. We hire only the most skilled lawyers who work in highly efficient teams brimming with intellectual firepower. When we need additional outstanding lawyers on our team, we partner with other top-tier national litigation firms. As an example, Gilbert Litigators is co-lead counsel with two other law firms in one of the most prominent antitrust class action lawsuits in the U.S., Henry et. al. v. Brown University et. al. Also known as the 568 Cartel lawsuit, the litigation alleges that 17 elite, private universities have been colluding for years in a financial aid price-fixing conspiracy. The court has preliminarily approved already more than $284 million in settlements. An article in The New York Times described the strategy of plaintiffs' counsel as "brilliant." The New York Times, “This is Peak Admissions Absurdity," May 5, 2024.
